Ben, you asked me to show you something. This is ten minutes. No prices in it, nothing to sign. Just what I saw and what I would do about it.
A truck, then a shop on the Green, and people still line up. Most places never get here.
Those reviews are neighbors, not strangers. Nothing I do touches that. Everything I do sits on top of it.
"Nobody has ordered this in about a month."
A girl came in for a bowl. It got said at the counter, just in passing, the way you say something that is not supposed to matter.
I caught it. And I have not stopped thinking about it since, because there is nothing wrong with that item. People just do not know it is there.
That is the whole thing in one sentence, and it came out of your own shop, not out of me. You are sourcing real ingredients and putting them on a menu, and a good part of that menu is invisible to the town you are standing in.
Which means the fix is not the food. The fix is that people have to see it.
Anybody can sell a smoothie. Almost nobody can say why theirs is different and mean it. You can, and you have been able to for ten years.
The thing that started it, still rolling. That is a story most shops would pay to have and cannot buy.
Organic, local, real. You care about it out loud. People buy that when they hear it from the person who chose it.
A truck to a shop to a name people know in Windsor. That is a story with a beginning, and it has never been told anywhere.
You said you do not mind. Most owners will not do it. That one thing is worth more than any ad budget in this town.
The counter, the fruit, the truck, your hands, your face. Real footage of the real place, not stock video of somebody else's cafe.
You do not have to think of what to say. We hand you the words, you say them in your own voice. Ten to fifteen minutes of your week.
Every week, on schedule, without you remembering to do it. That is the part that has never been anybody's job here.
About the chia. About the cold press. About the truck. About you. That is how a menu stops being invisible.
You have posted 775 times already. You show up. You do not need convincing, you need a crew.
Small stuff, quick to fix, and a couple of them are costing you money right now.
Your email address is broken. Anyone who emailed about catering has been emailing nobody.
Santa Rosa is still listed. Your site and the delivery apps are still sending people to a store you sold.
Your cups say fruitymoto.com. There is nothing at that address. Six years of cups pointing at a door that does not open.
Catering has no way in. The best money in the shop, and the whole path is a QR code on an old flyer.
You cannot reach your own customers. Two thousand followers and not one phone number you own.
None of that is on you. You are running a counter and a truck. There is nobody here whose job it is to watch this stuff.
And none of it is urgent today. Some of these take an afternoon. The rest is the plumbing behind the shop, and that comes later, when it is worth doing. First we go get people looking at you.
You, me, and your manager. Not a sales meeting. I want to ask you questions about how this place actually runs, because I have only seen it from the outside.
I ask, you talk. How a Saturday goes, what breaks first, where catering comes from, what you wish you did not have to do.
We look at the shop together. If the light is good, we start shooting that day. No reason to wait for a second trip.
Then I come back with a real plan. Built on what you told me, not on what I guessed from the outside.
Whatever you decide after that, everything in here is yours to keep. Fix it yourself, hire anybody you want. You do not owe me anything for looking.
